Introduction
Bird sanctuary in Gunsan that opened in 2003The Geumgang Estuary Bird Sanctuary has become home to many rare birds including oyster catchers (Haematopus ostralegus) and Saunder’s gulls (Larus saundersi). Visitors, especially bird watchers, will get a thrill from feasting their eyes on the birds that call the estuary their home in the winter.
