Introduction

The Silsangsa Temple is particularly unique as it is located in a field, while most Korean temples are located in mountainous areas. The Korean War harmed parts of the temple, as fighting forces often passed through the area, but most of the cultural relics remained intact. The temple also has a templestay program.
