Introduction
Sculpture park with 68 sculptures by famous Korean artistsSeodong Park contains the Gungnamji Pond which is Korea’s first ever artificial pond. This Pond was created by King Mu during the Baekje dynasty and received its current status as Historic SiteNno. 135 in 1964. The name of the pond literally means ‘a pond south of the royal palace’ in Korean. Visitors can also enjoy the Mahan Hall showcases and other facilities such as the fishing spot, observatory, and boardwalk.
